NSR Australian Finals 2023
Dear all QLD State Finalists of the New Silk Road International Modelling Contest Queensland Division 2023,
The Red Box Events Co. team hopes that this email finds you well! We hope that you are still enjoying the spotlight and the adrenaline from winning the QLD division of the contest!
NEW SILK ROAD AUSTRALIAN FINALS 2023
Recently, we have received enquiries and feedback that the Australian Finals of the New Silk Road International Modelling Contest, held at New South Wales, had some discrepancies in their acceptance of eligible finalists.
Red Box Events Co. was appointed to run the Queensland division of the said event and was instructed specifically that only the top 3 winners of each category would be allowed to enter the Australian Finals held in August this year.
Immediately after the Queensland State Finals on 4 June 2023, all the top 3 QLD Division finals winners of each category were notified of the procedures to proceed and the contact details of the Australian Finals contest organizer. As we are not the appointed organizer for the Australian Finals contest, we were not able to check the eligibility of the contestants and those who were ultimately accepted into the Australian Finals.
Our attention had been drawn recently about discrepancies of the acceptance of the Australian Finals contestants. While we welcome enquiries and feedback of the Queensland contest, we do encourage all the feedback of the Australian finals to be submitted to the Australian Finals organizer directly.
Meanwhile we would like to take this opportunity to thank you all again for your support for Red Box Events Co. and the New Silk Road International Modelling Contest Queensland State events. We will keep monitoring the updates from the Australian Finals organizer.
It is with deep regrets that Red Box Events Co. will not be organizing the next New Silk Road International Modelling Contest.
